Message your team in direct and group chats
Send direct messages and start group chats with people in your company, share photos and files, and pin move and claim chats to your screen as chat heads.
We ship MovePlnr several times a week. Here is every update since February 2026: what's new, what got better and what we fixed, in the words you see in the app.
The biggest changes of the last few releases.
Send direct messages and start group chats with people in your company, share photos and files, and pin move and claim chats to your screen as chat heads.
A contract template can list the waivers a customer signs first. The contract link walks the customer through each waiver, then the contract, so one email or text covers everything.
Add the MovePlnr connector in Claude to ask about your moves, customers and payments in plain language and act on them from there. Admins choose which actions need extra approval, and sensitive actions ask you to confirm first. It is in early access: ask us to turn it on for your company.
Compass, in the help panel, answers questions about MovePlnr, walks new companies through setup, and takes problem reports and suggestions. You can follow each report in the same conversation.
Add separate agreements to one job, such as packing, moving and storage. The new Agreements section on the Opportunity page and in Dispatch lets you send each one, track its status and open the signed copy.
Texts across all your lines, calls and emails now appear in one timeline on the customer page and the new opportunity view. Line badges and filters show which number each message used.
Nothing on this page matches. Try another area, or open an earlier month below.

A contract template can list the waivers a customer signs first. The contract link walks the customer through each waiver, then the contract, so one email or text covers everything.
A waiver can include boxes the customer fills in when signing, such as their full name. The office no longer has to type those details in before sending.
Choose a waiver's checkmark options on its Agreements row and send it from there, without opening move chat. Sales users can send these waivers too, and a page you can't open shows a clear message.
Emails sent to your claims address show up in a Claims inbox below the claims list and link to their claim, with unread counts on each claim. Dispatchers and admins are notified of new claims and replies, and answers go out from the claims address.
Add a credit card on the Billing page without changing your plan, keep more than one card on file, and choose a backup card.
Collect small local jobs in a waiting pool, then book several onto one truck on a quiet day, back to back or as a mixed route. Each job keeps its own customer, price and invoice.
Messenger and Instagram direct messages arrive in the Inbox as their own channels. Reply from the thread, and see when a conversation is outside the reply window.
Draft Facebook and Instagram posts from closed moves with AI help, review them in a queue, schedule them, and track engagement over time.
Publish posts to Instagram and handle Instagram direct messages in the Inbox. Message threads show their channel, and attachments open reliably.
A new Messenger conversation can create a customer and opportunity on its own, linked to the Inbox thread. Facebook posts are no longer marked failed when they published.
The AI Agent console is easier to read. The AI Agent console has clearer labels for phone numbers, test callers, capabilities and runs. Sales
AI agent settings reach every existing agent. When your AI settings change, your existing AI agents update to match. Sales

Additional Stops on an opportunity now takes extra pickup locations as well as drop-offs, placed in the right spot on the route and labeled as pickups.
Build a shared knowledge base that Compass and the Claude connector use to answer your team. Staff can suggest items, admins approve them, and each item has a review date so answers stay current.
Videos, voice clips and photos in formats browsers can't show, such as 3GP, MOV, AMR and HEIC, are converted so they open in the Inbox, with preview tiles and downloads.

Links shared from the phone app work for customers. The self-serve estimate link and the review QR code in move chat now work when they're created from the phone app. Everywhere
Accepted estimates book onto the chosen truck. When a customer accepts a contract-free estimate, the move is booked onto the truck picked at booking instead of landing in Unassigned. Dispatch
Closed invoices keep one number. A move's full invoice keeps the same number after later close edits, so Payment History always finds it and deposit receipts stay intact. Finance
Long-distance closes post the right costs. Own-truck long-distance jobs no longer add a carrier expense at close, and re-quoting in a different mode updates the legs to match. Finance
Saved payrolls show their overtime lines. Confirmed and paid payrolls show each stored overtime line, not only the total. Finance

Set rules that send 5-star review requests to the branches that need reviews most. Pages also keep working when the browser translates them.
Set a main rule for where 5-star review requests go across your locations, then add temporary needs, such as a new branch with few reviews, to steer reviews there.

Save questions to a question bank and reuse them across quizzes. Close or reopen a send to control when it takes answers, and see completion and correctness for every question and quiz.
Quiz questions can include a photo, and photos carry into the question bank. Click a person who submitted to see each answer next to the correct one.
Connect your company's YouTube channel and upload videos from the Marketing social area, with the publishing settings YouTube requires.
Yard Upcoming Work can group jobs by truck, and each truck shows when it should leave the yard. Missing travel times are flagged, and the yard to first pickup leg is filled in from the truck's actual jobs.
Yard Stock shows where each item is stored, including inside containers and on trucks, with totals and links to truck pages.
Edit the introduction email new partners receive, tailor it per location, preview it and reset it to the default. Partner sign-in emails now use invite links.
Pause review requests for chosen contract templates. Mark a contract template to skip review request emails, so jobs such as rentals don't ask for a review before the work is done. Marketing
Website leads go to the nearest branch. Inbound leads are matched to the closest active branch by their origin address, so fewer land under the wrong location. Sales
Email attachments show in conversation details. Invoices and other email attachments appear with the message in conversation details, ready to open. Inbox
Email lead source rules credit new customers. Email attribution rules now credit the lead source for brand-new customers at intake, not only for existing ones. Marketing
Crew intro texts show real coordinator hours. Coordinator hours in crew intro texts come from the actual RingCentral work schedule, so nobody shows as available around the clock. Dispatch

Pair a Stripe card reader with your account and take card payments in person from the payment and close screens.
Opening a chat for a move in another branch shows that move's Close Move, delivery orders, stage controls, Call Dispatch and time zone.
A rate you pick stays selected. A rate you choose, including No Truck rates, stays selected for that crew. Changing movers or trucks still moves the quote to the best rate. Sales
Crew counts add up on multi-truck jobs. Job Assignments counts the full crew, lead included, and shows empty slots only when someone is actually missing. Dispatch
Crew members stay available to mention in move chat. People assigned to a move can still be tagged in its chat after their roles change. Inbox
Attach photos to checklist items on any branch's move. Photos attach to checklist items even when the move belongs to a different branch than the one open in the app. Crew app
Storage unit prices show in full. Unit prices in storage facility pricing no longer get cut off, and the pricing dialog is wider. Admin
Manual billing accounts stop combining invoices. The billing run checks each account's current invoicing schedule first, so manual accounts go back to one invoice per move and empty cycles are voided. Finance
Estimate reminders, call recordings and $0 closes work reliably. Estimate reminders include the view-estimate button, call recordings keep downloading when the phone system is busy, and a $0 close with tax set is no longer refused. Everywhere
Embedded forms pick a readable button label color for your brand and carry ad tracking again. Contract SMS templates now edit as plain text.
Buttons on embedded forms pick white or dark text to suit your brand color, so light colors stay readable. Script-loaded embeds also carry the page's ad tracking again.
Contract SMS templates edit as plain text. The uncommit and unsigned-cancel templates open in the SMS editor with a length meter, the same format they're sent in. Sales
The attachment size limit matches what can be sent. The attachment total shown when sending an estimate or contract now matches the real limit, so a send the app allows goes through. Sales
A branch remembered from another sign-in no longer causes an error. If a device remembers a branch from a different account, the app switches to one of your branches instead of showing an error page. Everywhere
Long-distance moves are now a move type of their own, with legs, charges, quotes, documents and milestones from quote to close. Crew intro texts list the whole crew, and storage bookings can collect tax.
Quote, book and track long-distance moves on your own truck, a carrier's truck or by pallet, within Canada and between Canada and the US. The long distance calculator compares carriers and opens each option into pickup, travel, unloading and extras, and each shipment tracks its own legs, charges, documents and milestones.
Crew intro texts name everyone on the move and the day's on-duty coordinators with their hours, and send from the branch's own number when it has one.
New storage bookings can charge tax based on their location, and the tax carries through subscriptions, invoices, the invoice PDF and QuickBooks.
Estimate templates can carry standing attachments, and you can add more files each time you send an estimate.
Payroll travel pay follows the branch's travel limit. Travel pay skips empty legs that shouldn't be paid and follows each location's travel-leg limit, and travel values are easier to read on payroll. Finance
Enter estimate time in hours and minutes. Time spent on an estimate is entered as hours plus minutes, payroll admins can correct it later, and payroll shows estimate hours on their own line. Estimator
Long texts are split or flagged before sending. Texts are checked against the provider's length limit before they go out. Long messages are split or refused with a clear message instead of failing. Inbox
Contract texts arrive as clean text. Automated contract texts, such as uncommit and unsigned-cancel messages, no longer show formatting tags to customers. Sales
Storage bookings follow releases and failed first charges. A backdated release voids a sent storage invoice that's no longer owed, and a subscription whose first charge never goes through takes the booking out of Active. Finance
QuickBooks and Stripe updates recover on their own. Combined invoices try again after QuickBooks reports a newer version, storage and walk-in payments re-push correctly, records that share a name stay separate, and Stripe payment updates are retried instead of lost. Finance
Close Move and the supervisor calendar show the right crew and jobs. Close Move lists each crew member once and finishes moves with added taxes, and the shared supervisor calendar shows crewed jobs still awaiting signature. Dispatch
Unclaimed leads sort by time and the file picker scrolls. Sorting the Unclaimed list by unclaimed time works again, crew intro texts are checked every 15 minutes, and the customer files picker in booking confirmation scrolls to every file. Sales
Security improvements. We tightened security across the app. Everywhere
Upload an SOP as a PDF and AI pulls out the key points as a draft for you to edit. Closing a move no longer captures a financing hold on its own.
Upload an existing SOP as a PDF and AI pulls out the key items into a draft. Review and edit it, or run the extraction again, before you publish.
Financing holds are captured only from the Capture action, with a separate confirmation. Closing the move leaves the hold alone.
A new sales report shows how leads pass between reps and how they convert. Payments across moves, storage and walk-in sales now share one record, with settled and cash dates.
The new Lead Hand-offs sales report shows who dropped leads, who picked them up and how they converted, with a date filter and a drill-down for each lead's path. Manager reassignments are counted apart from expired-lead takeovers.
Each payment carries a settled date and a cash date, and paid status follows one rule across the app. Finance screens show money in transit, and payouts and payroll are dated when the money goes out.
Storage and walk-in sale payments now use the same payment record as moves, so you can refund them and send a receipt. Walk-in sales can also take card payments through Stripe.
Payments recorded in QuickBooks now come into MovePlnr, and chargebacks are tracked against the payment they reverse, with finance screens to review both.
Yard managers see a short upcoming-work window, per-location yard notifications and walk-in sales, without claims. Supervisors now see moves only for the branches they supervise.
Affirm financing records the fee and smaller captures correctly. The Affirm financing fee passes to the customer, and capturing less than the hold shows as a released hold instead of a refund. Finance
Stops keep their order and unsaved edits. Pickup and drop-off stops stay in the order you set after saving, and edits in progress on the Opportunity page survive a background refresh. Sales
Move chats and claims chats now sit on separate tabs, and you can show job rates to the whole crew, only the crew leader, or nobody. Invoices and receipts also keep the tax that applied at close.
Chats now have a Moves and Claims switch with separate unread counts, so claims conversations stay apart from day-to-day move chats.
In Company settings, show rates to everyone on the crew, only the move's crew leader, or nobody.
Taxes are saved with each job at close, so later rate changes don't alter past invoices, receipts or refunds. Documents can show your tax registration numbers, and closing into an earlier period warns you first.
Automatic lead intake text now goes in its own read-only intake notes field, so Office Notes hold only what your team writes.
Start a truck restock from the stock page or the low-stock card, and low-stock alerts open the truck that needs it.
Turn on the Weather add-on to show each day's conditions and high and low on the Job Assignments week view, read at each branch's own address.
Yard Stock is easier to search and read. Type to find a stock item in preset and purchase order pickers. Negative stock shows where the shortage is, pending recounts stand out, and preset lines show real item and yard names. Yard
Payouts show mentorship overrides on every screen. Mentorship override amounts appear on the payroll panel, profile quick stats and printed paystubs, and the commission table has clearer labels. Finance
Backdate a storage release to the move-out date. Record a storage release on the actual move-out date, even when it's entered later, so billing ends when the storage did. Finance
Saving a contact's phone number handles duplicates. Changing a contact's phone number to one already on another record in your company now saves instead of failing. Sales
Customers can get an automatic text introducing their crew before the move, and contract signature requests can carry supporting files. Website forms also accept email-only leads, and financing holds are easier to manage.
Each branch can send customers an automatic text about an hour before the move, introducing the crew and the office contact for the day. You write the message per location, and it only goes to eligible moves.
Keep a schedule of on-duty coordinators for each location, import it from RingCentral or keep both in sync. Crew intro texts use it to name the right coordinator.
Assign a RingCentral number to each location so automated texts go out from that branch and customer replies come back to it.
Add supporting files such as terms or valuation documents to a contract template, and choose whether they go out again with the signed copy.
Lead capture and quote embed forms can make the phone number optional, and customers can be created with a phone or an email. Existing forms keep requiring a phone until you change the setting.
Capture an authorized financing hold from the move details or the close view, with an editable amount up to the limit. Suggested amounts now include location taxes, and canceling a move warns before the hold is released.
You get a notification when a customer's financing application is approved or declined. Declines show which provider was involved and whether the customer was declined or left the checkout.
Yard managers can create a new supply, or link to an existing one, right from Yard Stock, including its price and whether it sells to customers.
Customers with period-based invoice terms no longer start combined invoicing on their own. The default is manual, and customers set to Follow Terms keep that schedule.
Choose the country when adding a Stripe account. Adding a Stripe Connect account now asks for the country, Canada or the US, so the account is set up correctly. The country shows in account lists. Company settings
Close Moves shows the selected branch in local time. The Close Moves page groups work by the selected branch and shows each move's time in its own time zone. An empty branch points you to branches that still have moves to close. Dispatch
Crew assignment rules apply the same way everywhere. Crew changes from the move estimate editor follow the same assignment rules as the Dispatch board, and only roles that can override a blocked assignment see those controls. Dispatch
Recruiter bonus changes update open payrolls. Changing recruiter bonus settings recalculates any open draft payroll it affects, so the payroll screen and the bonus details match. Finance
Expense approvals use the move's local date. Approving an expense in the evening no longer files it under the next day, so period reports and bank matching line up. Finance
QuickBooks invoice updates go through after a payment sync. When QuickBooks reports that an invoice changed since the last sync, MovePlnr rereads it and tries again, so re-syncs and re-closes complete. Finance
Grounded trucks stay unavailable until their own midnight. A truck on hold stays unavailable until midnight in its own branch's time zone, across the vehicle list, quotes and the reserve picker. Admin
Google reviews sync completely. Google review sync reads the full review list, so new reviews come in and removed ones drop off. Marketing
Sign-in screens say why a sign-in failed. Login and two-step verification screens show the real reason, such as an expired link or a locked account, instead of a generic message. Everywhere
Supply lists refresh live and menus match their fields. The supplies list updates in every open tab when someone adds, edits or archives a supply, and dropdown menus open at the width of their field again. Admin
The move page opens an existing claim instead of starting a new one, and claims show strike standing, the move date and every mover in filters.
A move with an open claim shows View claim instead of Start claim. Open claims show each mover's current strike standing and the move date, the claims list filters by mover with a search box, and the assignee list hides deactivated movers.
Security improvements. We tightened security across the app. Everywhere
New storage bookings charge GST or HST based on the booking's location. QuickBooks sync for Canadian companies now picks the right tax code for each line and handles payroll entries and tips.
New storage bookings charge GST or HST each period based on the booking's location. The tax shows on storage invoices, card subscriptions and in QuickBooks.
Each invoice line gets the tax code that fits it, such as GST alone on labour and GST plus PST on supplies, and discounts reduce the tax. Payroll entries, tipped invoices and invoice dates sync, and bank accounts connected before QuickBooks get linked.
Assigning movers no longer asks for an override note. Crew assignments on moving jobs save without a fit-for-duty override reason. Dispatch
New bookings, customers and assignments can no longer use a closed location or a deactivated team member. Estimates show a second pickup, and Monthly Business flags payroll that is still open.
New bookings and customers cannot use a closed location, and new assignments cannot go to a deactivated team member. Lists and pickers hide closed locations, while existing records stay editable.
Second pickup stops show on estimates. Estimate PDFs, emails, contracts and waivers list every pickup stop on multi-pickup jobs. Sales
Monthly Business flags open payroll. Monthly Business shows a Payroll not closed callout with counts and a link straight to Payroll. Reports
QuickBooks sync follows your finance go-live date and Canadian tax codes, and you choose which linked bank accounts feed your books.
QuickBooks sync skips records from before your finance go-live date instead of retrying them, avoids duplicate item and vendor names, and maps Canadian tax codes for each location.
When you link a bank, pick which accounts to include and give them nicknames. Excluded accounts, such as personal ones, stay out of your bank feed.
Estimate custom charges count toward tax. Custom charges and discounts on estimates are included in the tax total. Mark a custom charge as tax-exempt when it should not be taxed. Sales
Review campaign steps keep a new template. Changing the email template on a review campaign step takes effect when you save. Marketing

Scheduled tasks run at the right local time. Recurring tasks follow the latest time zone rules, so they run at the expected local hour. Everywhere
Every move now shows how long each stage took, with custom timers your company defines. Payroll can pay a recruiter bonus when a recruited mover reaches hour milestones.
Every move shows how long it spent in each stage, with totals and company-defined custom timers. Stage timing is for visibility and stays separate from billed work time.
Set worked-hour milestones and a bonus for each in payroll settings. The HR team member who recruited a mover earns each milestone once on their payroll, with a ledger per recruit and admin overrides.
Report cards explain every score. Each report card label explains itself, unranked movers show why, and retired measures no longer appear in new months. The CSV download works when some movers have no grade yet. Reports
See who added each team member. Team member records show who created them. Added by appears only when the creator is known, and the Team tab shows the same member count as the Hours tab. Admin
Crew chat fits small phone screens. On phones, the message editor scrolls into view, the location banner takes less room, and the message list keeps its height when an Orders card is open. Inbox
Hidden prices read Hidden, not $0.00. When you are not allowed to see rates, unassigned orders at move close show Hidden instead of $0.00. Dispatch
Send a customer financing application early in the sale and capture it when the move closes. Claims get their own team chat, and team members get a full page with history.
Send a customer a financing application early in the sale and follow its status across the app. When the move closes, the approved amount is captured and any remaining balance is collected separately.
